NVIDIA
Compute and inference infrastructure
NVIDIA belongs near the top of a scale-led AI ecosystem list because its business spans the computing and inference layer on which many decision services run. NIM packages model-serving configurations behind standard APIs and a supported container lifecycle. A September 10, 2026 technical release discusses performance engineering for Nemotron 3 Ultra, including cache reuse, scheduling, and speculative decoding. The Decision API relevance is latency and throughput under real traffic, rather than a claim that one GPU platform determines decision quality. Reported performance gains apply to the documented hardware and workload; they are not universal multipliers.
Visible product activity: Sep 10, 2026: Nemotron 3 Ultra NIM serving-optimization report.
Editorial activity assessment: Focused visible activity. September 10 technical publication documents Nemotron 3 Ultra NIM serving work; this is one concrete deployment signal, not a complete release count.

Alphabet / Google
Frontier models, cloud and distribution
Alphabet combines model research, developer APIs, cloud infrastructure, and large consumer distribution. Google's October 2 roundup documents an active September 2026 release cycle including Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and voice capabilities. The Gemini API's living model documentation is the appropriate place to verify current model identifiers and lifecycle status. For DecisionAPI.com, Google represents a broad model supply and deployment ecosystem: applications can use models to interpret evidence, generate candidate actions, or support a bounded workflow. Those capabilities should be assessed against a specific task, with clear policy boundaries and explicit handling of uncertainty.
Visible product activity: Oct 2, 2026 roundup: multiple September Gemini model and product releases.
Editorial activity assessment: Strong visible activity. October 2 first-party roundup identifies multiple September releases: Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and voice capabilities.

Microsoft / Azure
Enterprise model platform and routing
Microsoft's directly relevant contribution is the enterprise layer around models. Foundry's model router chooses eligible models for requests and supports controls such as model subsets and routing profiles. Its October 6, 2026 documentation describes a pool of 35 supported models, following September additions for session affinity, routing metadata, and regional availability. This is a concrete example of a decision about which AI should handle another decision. For DecisionAPI.com, Microsoft offers a useful way to explain model routing, fallback, observability, and enterprise deployment. Routing quality must be evaluated alongside task accuracy, cost, latency, and eligibility constraints.
Visible product activity: Sep–Oct 2026: routing metadata, session affinity and expanded model coverage.
Editorial activity assessment: Strong visible activity. September routing metadata, session affinity and regional expansion followed by October model-pool additions, documented October 6.

Amazon / AWS
Managed model and agent infrastructure
Amazon provides model access and agent infrastructure through AWS. Bedrock's structured outputs feature, announced February 4, 2026, lets supported models return responses constrained to a supplied schema. The documentation distinguishes output formatting from strict tool input definitions and identifies model and API limitations. September's OpenAI DevDay also introduced Bedrock Managed Agents powered by OpenAI. Together these developments show how managed platforms can supply both model intelligence and execution infrastructure. For a Decision API, schema compliance reduces integration ambiguity, while the application still needs to validate evidence, enforce permissions, and evaluate whether the selected action is appropriate.
Visible product activity: Feb 4, 2026: Bedrock structured outputs; Sep 29: OpenAI-powered managed-agent announcement.
Editorial activity assessment: Focused visible activity. September 29 OpenAI-powered Bedrock Managed Agents announcement is the current-window signal; February 4 structured outputs is older background.

Meta
Models, agents and enterprise distribution
Meta announced Meta Enterprise Platform on September 28, 2026, describing an effort to bring its models, infrastructure, and agents to businesses. The announcement names Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code as parts of that direction. For DecisionAPI.com, this is evidence that AI competition extends into application distribution and business workflows, as well as model releases. It is an announcement of a platform strategy, not proof that every named capability has identical availability or performance. Evaluate the specific offering, interface, access conditions, and controls before treating it as a production decision service.
Visible product activity: Sep 28, 2026: Meta Enterprise Platform announced.
Editorial activity assessment: Focused visible activity. September 28 Meta Enterprise Platform announcement names a business platform direction and product family; it does not prove every component is generally available.

Oracle
Enterprise data and AI cloud infrastructure
Oracle is relevant where enterprise records and cloud AI meet. Its September 2026 OCI release notes describe model discovery, new imported-model support, and a smart model router for cross-region inference. Other entries connect AI services with application development and database workflows. That pattern matters for a Decision API because many useful decisions depend on business data, regional service availability, and repeatable integration rather than a standalone chat interface. Oracle's corporate market value is a measure of the whole business. The practical comparison should focus on the exact OCI services, model support, data-access controls, and deployment requirements a workflow needs.
Visible product activity: Sep 23, 2026: OCI model discovery and smart cross-region model routing.
Editorial activity assessment: Strong visible activity. September release notes identify model discovery, smart cross-region routing, and multiple model imports; September 23 provides exact dated examples.

OpenAI
Frontier-model and decision interfaces
OpenAI now directly serves the decision-interface category. Its current guide, checked October 9, 2026, describes Decisions API as public beta through the dedicated POST /v1/decisions endpoint, with gpt-6-luna as the supported model. It evaluates text and images using predicate, choice, and score questions for classification, routing, and prioritization. The September 29 DevDay recap records the limited-preview announcement; the official API changelog dates the beta release to October 6. OpenAI also announced GPT-6.1 Sol and expanded agent infrastructure. Its disclosed $852 billion financing valuation is dated March 31, 2026, and is not a public market capitalization. The company remains an especially direct reference for DecisionAPI.com.

Anthropic
Frontier models, coding and enterprise AI
Anthropic supplies Claude models and products used in enterprise and coding workflows. Its September 2026 model materials introduce Claude Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 with distinct access and safeguard arrangements, while its system-card register documents continuing releases. The important DecisionAPI.com angle is how a frontier model participates in a controlled system: extracting evidence, evaluating alternatives, invoking tools, or preparing a recommendation. A product's reasoning ability does not itself confer permission to make a consequential decision. Anthropic's $965 billion figure is the post-money value disclosed for its May 28, 2026 financing, not a traded market capitalization or a forecast IPO value.
Visible product activity: Sep 2026: Fable 5.1 / Mythos 5.1 model announcement and continuing system-card publication.
Editorial activity assessment: Strong visible activity. September Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 materials and the system-card register document continuing model releases; unspecified days are not invented.

Cursor / Anysphere (SpaceX)
Developer workflows and agent orchestration
Cursor is the developer-platform entry, with Anysphere now a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary according to the August 14, 2026 SEC completion filing. The transaction used a $60 billion implied equity value for Cursor. Its September and October changelog shows active work on project coordination, deployment-health monitoring, security review, and remote control of local agents. These are examples of AI moving through the software lifecycle, where routing tasks, checking results, and escalating uncertain outcomes all matter. Include Cursor as a platform shaping demand for decision services, without relabeling its historical acquisition price as a live market cap or claiming a separate general-purpose Decision API.
Visible product activity: Sep 10 Projects; Sep 23 Rollouts and Security Review; Oct 6 remote control for local agents.
Editorial activity assessment: Strong visible activity. September 10 Projects, September 23 Rollouts and Security Review, and October 6 remote control supply three concrete dated workflow signals.

TypeSafe AI (Jev)
Emerging decision-model spotlight
TypeSafe AI occupies the requested tenth slot as an emerging-company spotlight. Jev's September 15, 2026 launch makes bounded, typed decisions its central interface, with the current documentation exposing Choice, Score, and Noul primitives. That close semantic match makes it especially relevant to DecisionAPI.com. The company disclosed an $870 million Series A at a $7.5 billion valuation on October 9. Neither that financing nor the site's editorial placement makes TypeSafe the tenth-largest AI company. The strongest coverage will compare accuracy, probability calibration, latency, cost, and failure handling on defined tasks, while distinguishing vendor benchmark claims from independent evidence.
Visible product activity: Sep 15 Jev launch; Oct 9 Series A announcement.
Editorial activity assessment: Emerging spotlight. September 15 Jev launch and October 9 financing establish a timely category entrant, but not a long release history or a global financial rank.
