Editorial standards & ranking methodology

Our editorial goal is to explain decision intelligence clearly enough that a reader can distinguish a working capability, a vendor claim, an architectural proposal, and a forecast.

Evidence and attribution

We prefer official documentation, original research, company announcements, and responsible government or standards organizations. Linked sources support the nearby factual statements. Company performance claims remain attributed; schema-valid answers are not treated as automatically correct. Illustrative examples explain design ideas and do not represent measured deployments.

Dates and changing information

The launch edition was researched on 9 October 2026. Availability statements describe the documentation checked for that edition. A source-access date is different from a product-release date. Financial figures retain their own measurement or transaction date. Later publication updates should change the modification date only when the content changes materially.

Company selections

The AI leaders directory is an editorial selection based on financial scale, relevant API infrastructure, and dated product activity. The first six selected public companies are ordered by their recorded corporate market capitalization. The remaining positions cover model and developer-platform influence. TypeSafe AI, whose model is Jev, appears at #10 as an explicitly requested emerging-company spotlight. It is not presented as the tenth-largest AI company.

The decision-company directory is a relevant-company shortlist. Its numbering is a reading order, not a market-share or performance ranking. Public market caps, private financing valuations, and acquisition equity values are never treated as identical financial measures. Innovation activity is a qualitative assessment rather than a fabricated numerical release-velocity index.

Company website links use the visible referral marker ref=decisionapi.com. It identifies the referring publication; it does not imply a commercial relationship or guaranteed analytics attribution. External references open in a new tab. The browser and the destination control whether referral information is retained.

Review and correction

Content should be reconsidered when documentation changes, a company changes ownership, or new evidence alters a claim. Preserve the original source and date, explain a material correction, and distinguish the updated conclusion from the previous statement. The operator can update the source articles and regenerate this static edition.

Scope

Technical and industry articles provide general education. They do not determine an individual’s credit, insurance, employment, legal, or voting outcome. Broader adoption is discussed as a possibility supported by emerging products, not a promise that every application or company will use the same architecture.
